The evolutionary successor to the VAR series pumps—the TecnoCooling Mistmatic. An automatic and flexible high-pressure pump for multi-zone adiabatic humidification or air cooling systems.
Its reliable and time-tested power unit consists of a brass-cast, triple-plunger, axial high-pressure pump and a three-phase asynchronous motor with forced-air cooling.
The new controller features an advanced Time 2.0 digital timer with adjustable cyclic operating time, daily, and weekly cycles. A MODBUS communication module is available upon request. A built-in hour meter alerts you when maintenance is required.
A 1.5 kW 400 V frequency converter adjusts the motor speed according to the flow rate of active loads. A relay and pressure transducer monitor automatic start and stop, stopping the pump in the event of a lack of water or a leak in the high-pressure line. The glycerin-damped pointer pressure gauge is located on the front panel. Powder-coated steel housing with IPX5 dust and moisture protection rating, power cord with grounded plug, ports for external signals, 10 mm PUSH-IN inlet and 3.8" PUSH-IN outlet fittings.
A distribution unit with solenoid valves or ball valves can be connected to the Mistmatic pump. When a valve or valve is opened, the Mistmatic pump will automatically increase pressure and decrease it when closed. Examples:
A multi-zone humidification system, where each valve receives a signal from a humidity sensor-based meter/controller. This could be a printing house with three rooms where the humidity in each room varies independently.
A multi-zone cooling system, where ball valves are used instead of valves, allows any number of valves to be opened or closed depending on the task. This could be a restaurant patio with umbrellas, where the cooling of each umbrella is controlled independently of the other umbrellas, and a single pump is used.
