Fans for Misting Systems

The primary task of an artificial misting system is to disperse fine water droplets over a large area. To achieve this goal, several methods can be used, such as installing nozzles in different parts of a space or using fans, which can distribute mist much more efficiently.

Mist is generated through a special ring equipped with nozzles, but naturally, it does not spread well on its own. Therefore, a fan is needed to create an airflow that will effectively disperse the fine water droplets throughout the area.

Wall-Mounted Fans Tecnocooling

Wall-mounted fans are the most commonly used, as they are secured to a wall in a way that allows them to cover the maximum possible area. A misting ring is attached to the fan, and a special mounting system is designed for this purpose.

Once water is supplied to the ring under high pressure, the nozzles begin to spray it. At the same time, the wall-mounted fan activates, distributing the mist evenly throughout the space or across an outdoor area.

These fans can be used both indoors and outdoors and are made from corrosion-resistant materials, ensuring a long service life.

Autonomous Fans for Artificial Misting

It is not always possible to connect a powerful fan to an electrical network, as misting systems are not always used as stationary installations. In many cases, they are utilized as portable setups.

This need led to the development of autonomous fans, which come with their own power source. Thanks to a rechargeable battery, these fans can generate a continuous airflow for an extended period, even without being connected to a power supply.

Advantages of Autonomous Fans:

  • More mobile and flexible installation
  • Significant energy savings
  • Continued operation even during voltage drops
  • Compact design
  • Easy to transport and install

Mist Fans

The Use of Hanging Fans for Mist Dispersion

Fans are an essential part of an artificial misting system, as they allow for a more effective distribution of mist over a larger area, increasing overall system efficiency.

Hanging fans are widely used in various applications, from restaurant terraces to water treatment plants, where mist plays a crucial role in cooling and cleaning processes.

They are also commonly used in areas where dust suppression is a priority. These fans not only distribute mist over a wide area but also allow for precise directional control.

Hanging fans are affordable, yet they effectively fulfill their intended function, making them a cost-efficient solution for misting applications.

Alternative Solution: Misting Cannons

An alternative method for mist dispersion is the misting cannon, which can generate a significantly larger quantity of mist particles per unit of time compared to standard misting systems. Misting cannons are particularly effective for covering vast areas quickly and efficiently.
