Application of artificial fog systems in cafes and restaurants

Application of artificial fog systems in cafes and restaurants

Artificial fog in a cafe is a necessary structure that will help create a favorable microclimate in any catering establishment. Moreover, such a structure can be used not only in closed rooms, but also in open areas: for example, a summer terrace, etc. All modern designs are distinguished by a simple installation method, an attractive design that will not spoil the interior or exterior of a cafe or restaurant.

Why do you need a fog system in a cafe or restaurant?

One of the main tasks when using artificial fog systems is the ability to reduce the air temperature, which is especially important in the summer. Such a system helps to escape from extreme heat by spraying small particles of water. Moreover, the diameter of these particles is less than 10 microns, and therefore, during the operation of the system, neither the clothes nor the hair of the guests will get wet.

In addition to cooling the air, the fog helps protect all restaurant visitors from annoying insects. Small particles of water prevent the active spread of dust in the air, cigarette smoke. All this allows you to create favorable conditions for outdoor recreation.

What equipment is needed to build a fog system for a cafe?

You can find many different fogging systems on sale. Despite this, the standard kit includes the following list of parts and elements:

  • a fog pump - piston pumps with timers are used;
  • fog fans - responsible for distributing small particles of water throughout the entire area;
  • high-pressure nozzles;
  • pipes and fittings, fasteners for the structure.

To clean the water from various impurities, while ensuring mechanical cleaning, you cannot do without the additional use of filters. After cleaning in 3-4 stages, the water is fed to the pump module, where an increase in the initial pressure in the system is noted. Then, the purified liquid is fed under pressure to the spray nozzles.

During the spraying process, artificial fog is automatically created from the nozzles. In this case, it is recommended to use nozzles with a nozzle diameter of about 0.1-0.5 mm. A larger diameter is intended for the organization of a fog system for dust suppression. For decorative purposes, it is recommended to use a small diameter: the smaller, the much better.
