Does the misting system wet my crops or animals? +

No. The micro-droplet of less than 10 microns evaporates in the air before reaching any surface. Plants, leaves, fruit and animals stay completely dry. The system cools by evaporation — not by wetting — which is essential in agriculture to prevent fungal disease and excessive humidity.

Can it be installed in an existing greenhouse without stopping production? +

Yes. Installation is carried out with crops in place and production running. Our team mounts the system along the structure of the greenhouse without structural drilling or construction work. Commissioning also takes place without any production stoppage.

Is it compatible with existing ventilation systems? +

Yes, and in fact the combination improves performance. Ventilation moves air and misting cools it. When used together they achieve a more uniform temperature drop throughout the whole space. We carry out a technical study of existing airflow before designing the installation.

How does misting affect livestock health? +

Positively. By reducing ambient temperature, the system lowers heat stress in animals, which translates into better milk production, lower summer mortality, improved fertility rates and less feed waste. The system is configured to maintain specific humidity levels that do not affect animal respiratory health.

What happens at the end of the season? +

At the end of the season it is important to switch the system off correctly and flush the water from the pipes to prevent pressure damage or residue build-up. At the start of the following season we recommend a quick check-up to make sure everything is ready. The stainless-steel nozzles are self-regulating and the anti-scale system keeps maintenance minimal.
